Admit it, everyone wants to see Daniel Bryan cap off his unlikely full-time WWE comeback by winning the Greatest Royal Rumble.
It's likely too, because Bryan's return to form must come as a surprise to everyone behind the scenes; there's unavoidable ring rust there, sure, but Daniel (for the most part) looks like he hasn't lost a step. That's heartening to see for someone who had become the best pure worker in the industry three years ago.
Bryan craves the chance to defy all doubts that he can reach those heights again. The emotion he'd display upon winning this Rumble, largely throwaway though it is, may give the match some much-needed credibility. By wearing tears as he celebrates with the fans, Daniel would make the 50-man experiment seem totally worthwhile.
Watching 60,000 plus Saudi Arabians join Bryan in a hearty chorus of, "Yes! Yes! Yes!" to end the show sounds like a fine time for WWE's production crew to fade out.
