WWE Greatest Royal Rumble: 10 Most Likely Winners

8. Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio has been itching for a WWE return since his stunning cameo in January's Royal Rumble. Injuries have slowed the hype train, but another strong showing in the 50-man match this week would fan the flames of anticipation that Rey is back.

A legend across the globe, Mysterio is also the ultimate underdog here, just as he was when winning the Rumble back in 2006. Older, smarter and less likely to ping around the ring like it's 1997 again, Rey would have to pick his spots and maximise his minutes in this one even if he didn't go the distance.

Much like Miz, he's an outside bet to win it all.

Nobody has been able to replace Rey as that Latino icon WWE crave, so it'd kill two birds with one Rumble win by having him emerge the victor, celebrate a new union with Saudi Arabia and give thanks to the Mexican people on TV after the fact.
