WWE Greatest Royal Rumble: Predicting 10 Entrants Not Yet Announced

9. Drew McIntyre

Initial responses to Drew McIntyre's Monday Night Raw redebut were predictably cautious after he joined forces with the perpetually f*cked Dolph Ziggler to beat down Titus Worldwide in disparate race to the bottom on the flagship.

His run on NXT suggested a hard-earned brighter future ahead, too. Permitted to return as the upgraded version of himself crafted on the independent circuit following his original WWE release, his year on the developmental brand was more eventful than his four on the main roster first time around.

A dominant post-WrestleMania stint saw him score NXT Championship glory in his first TakeOver singles match against Bobby Roode in the summer, only to lose it at his second one against Andrade 'Cien' Almas after going down with a torn bicep.

His unremarkable reascension aside, the Greatest Royal Rumble presents an altogether more fertile opportunity to announce himself as a major future force in WWE. Calls were loud and long for a 3-Man Band reunion following Monday, presumably in response to the nothing directions of both Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater on the flagship too. An air guitar stand-off before hauling the pair of them should establish him as the 'proper' pick from the three ahead of his return to Ziggler's teat.
