WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2016 - 10 Possible Inductees

3. Ravishing Rick Rude

Arguably one of the most overdue HOF inductions is the former Intercontinental Champion that called himself the sexiest man alive. Ravishing Rick Rude was a huge superstar in both the WWF and WCW and had legendary rivalries with Jake The Snake, Ricky Steamboat, Roddy Piper and, of course, The Ultimate Warrior. Rude helped put Warrior on the map as it was his bumping that made Warrior look impressive enough to ascend to the WWE World Title scene just months after finishing his feud with Rude, who is one of the few people in professional wrestling history that can say they defeated the Ultimate Warrior - Rude took the Intercontinental Title from the Warrior in front of Donald Trump and Atlantic City at WrestleMania V. Rude also has the distinction of being managed by the two greatest managers of all time, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Paul Heyman (known then as Paul E. Dangerously), and was an early mentor to a young Kevin Nash. Despite being a former Intercontinental and WCW World Champion, Rude is considered one of the greatest workers of the 80s and 90s to never capture the WWE Championship. Rude entering the Hall Of Fame is long overdue and could be the company's single posthumous induction for a wrestler in 2016 (if Owen doesn't go in, that is).
