WWE Hall Of Famer D-Von Dudley Recently Suffered Stroke
D-Von Dudley revealed a recent stroke on the 'Table Talk' podcast.
Speaking on the 'Table Talk' podcast, D-Von Dudley has revealed he suffered a stroke recently.
During the pod, the WWE Hall of Famer noted how he'd been dealing with some health issues in recent times, adding that these problems turned out to be a stroke in the end.
In D-Von's words:
“I’m doing alright. I’m getting stronger and stronger each day. I was denying it and wasn’t saying anything before, but I’ll let it out now. I had a stroke and now I’m doing so much better. I’m back to my normal self almost.”
This week saw Dudley welcome current AEW star Matt Hardy to his podcast, with the Team 3-D member noting how he named one of his sons after the Hardy Boy:
“When we found out we were having a boy, I went to Matt and said, ‘I hope you don’t think this is creepy but I want to let you know I’m going to name my son Matthew after you.’ We went through so many battles but yet we became friends after all the battles and the TLC matches and I felt that close to Matt and I wanted to name my son Matthew.”
D-Von has been working as a backstage producer for WWE over the last few years, occasionally returning for a one-off on-screen appearance during Monday Night Raw specials. His twin boys, Terrence and Terrell also recently appeared on AEW DARK, following in their father's footstep as a tag team unit.
Needless to say, everyone at WhatCulture sends their best wishes to D-Von and hopes that he puts this recent scare behind him, all while continuing to impart his wisdom onto the next generation.
