Trish Stratus' WWE comeback has just been confirmed.

The Hall of Famer is due to host a Saturday 26 March live event in Kitchener, Ontario. This was announced via an advertisement in the local area during last night's episode of Raw, as pointed out by POST Wrestling's John Pollock:-

Stratus had originally been booked to host another Toronto live event on Wednesday 29 December, though this ended up being cancelled due to the emergence of the Omicron strain of COVID-19. That show has now been rescheduled for Sunday 27 March - and Trish is still being advertised as the guest host.

The past few years have seen Stratus drift in and out of WWE several times, though she last wrestled for the promotion at SummerSlam 2019, facing Charlotte Flair. The Canadian has talked up the possibility of returning several times since then, though it's unlikely that WWE would use live events, which are typically non-canon, to set something up.

Trish's long-term friend-turned-rival-turned-friend-turned-rival Lita recently re-emerged in WWE, competing in the 2022 Royal Rumble then challenging for Becky Lynch's Raw Women's Championship at Elimination Chamber (19 February).
