WWE Hamilton Ontario Live - 10 Interesting Observations

10. Several Big Names Were Missing

It was definitely a "B" lineup with no sign of John Cena, Randy Orton, Big Show or Kane. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were headlining the other tour. Daniel Bryan was originally supposed to be in the main event, but he's been taken off the road due to injuries. The main event was announced as Dean Ambrose taking on Luke Harper in a No Disqualification match. There were a few fans around us complaining about how Harper wasn't a main eventer, but as we found out later most people in the crowd were cool with it and appreciated the stars. As somebody that has been to over 50 WWE events in my life, it really wasn't bad being at a show without Cena, Orton, Show or Kane there. I've seen them all so many times that it was refreshing to know we'd see some NXT stars as well as other midcarders that aren't on TV as often. When you go to a WWE live event you know you're going to get 2.5 hours of entertainment with seven or eight matches and everybody's going to work hard. Don't be mad about who is off the show. Appreciate those that are there.
