WWE Hell in a Cell 2015 - 15 Major Talking points

4. Corporate Kane Is Gone From WWE

The Seth Rollins-Kane storyline has left more people scratching their heads than it has cheering in approval. As awesome as the Undertaker is, there€™s a reason he rarely summons lightning bolts down to the ring or does anything overtly supernatural anymore. It just doesn€™t work, and the same rule applies for Kane. No one really believed that Corporate and Demon Kane were two distinct individuals, and the storyline leading up to this match was as cheesy as it gets. Thankfully, this feud is finally over, as Rollins defeated Kane with the Pedigree. In doing so, as per the pre-match stipulation, Corporate Kane is no longer Director of Operations, which means that he can no longer be a thorn in Rollins€™s side. Whether WWE keeps this storyline intact and doesn€™t recton it going forward remains to be seen. After all, WWE has a history of re-writing history to fit new rivalries (see: Big Show vs. The Authority during the Fall of 2013) This means that Rollins will now need a new opponent for his WWEWHC. Although Kane did put on a good effort for a man of his age and stature, nobody actually expected Kane to win the match. Furthermore, Rollins has put on much better matches with the likes of Ambrose and Cena, both of whom are smaller and more balanced wrestlers than Kane.
