WWE Hell In A Cell 2016: 10 Shocks That Could Happen
5. All Three Hell In A Cell Matches Occur Consecutively
When WWE decided to name a pay-per-view after one of their most infamous match types in 2009, a fair few eyes were rolling amongst the wrestling fan community. Featuring no fewer than three Hell In A Cell bouts, the 2009 pay-per-view did suffer from overkill even when the match quality inside the cage was generally high.
That's been a consistent problem with the annual show ever since, and the Cell has lost a little lustre since being shoe-horned in to fit the same calendar slot each year. That will continue with the 2016 version of the event; it's just something WWE can't get away from.
Staggering each Cell match over the course of the card will help remedy this issue. That in mind, there's also a chance the trio of titular bouts could be booked consecutively. This means that Rusev vs. Roman Reigns, Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks, and Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins would all happen one after the other.
That would be a bold move from creative, and it'd certainly raise some eyebrows.
