WWE Hell In A Cell 2016: 10 Things That Must Happen
9. Roman Reigns Vs. Rusev Opens The Main Show
Wouldn't it be something if WWE elected to open the pay-per-view portion with one of the Hell In A Cell matches? Roman Reigns vs. Rusev for the WWE United States Title would be the best choice, if for no other reason than it is arguably the least interesting of the trio planned.
Flash back to last year's event though, Reigns surprised with the intensity of his Cell match opposite Bray Wyatt. There's really no reason why the reigning champion can't have another stormer against Rusev, all the tools and backstory are there for the pair to tear the house down and provide a sleeper hit for the show.
For Reigns and Rusev to have the best chance to succeed, they have to be handed that first Cell slot. Around 15-20 minutes is all that would be needed for both men to brawl. That's exactly what this match should be, a straight up fight.
Agents helping to lay out the match should not allow either wrestler to stall, this is the culmination of their lengthy rivalry and that needs to be reflected in the content of the bout.
