As much as the other Cruiserweight match on the show is all about showing in-ring talent, the feud between T.J Perkins and Brian Kendrick is more about telling a story. Kendrick and Perkins have already had one pay-per-view match, so it was shrewd to add another layer to their rivalry.

On the most recent episode of Raw, the veteran Kendrick outright asked Perkins to lay down for him at Hell In A Cell and effectively hand him the WWE Cruiserweight Title. This could be a case of Kendrick playing possum, trying to lure his younger peer in before springing a surprise attack.

Whatever the planned outcome for the match is, WWE have to let Kendrick and Perkins tell the story they've been given. The best way to do this is to have T.J act conflicted, Kendrick's pleas continually reverberating around in his head and leaving him unsure whether or not to save his title or his former friend's career.

That's a brilliant tale, one deserving of further exploration. With a trio of Cell matches on tap, the Cruiserweight Title bout could easily get lost in the shuffle. Don't let that happen, WWE.
