Before the Hell In A Cell show landed on pay-per-view, six Cruiserweight stars from the Raw roster did battle in a bumper tag-team match on the Kickoff show. Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari and Drew Gulak faced off against Lince Dorado, Sin Cara and the exciting Cedric Alexander in a bout that perfectly encapsulated why high-flying wrestling can be so thrilling.

In total, the six-man tag ran for around one minute less than the WWE Cruiserweight Title match between T.J Perkins and Brian Kendrick later in the same show. Some watching the title bout may have noticed that the live crowd didn't seem too invested in parts of the encounter, the multi-man match didn't have that problem.

Maybe it was because the six-man happened first on the card, or perhaps it was just a better match overall. Whatever the case, fans in Boston were much more receptive to the opening tag-team affair than they were to the title clash.

Is this a sign that people aren't truly into Perkins? Cedric Alexander, for example, received much louder cheers from the audience.
