WWE Hell In A Cell 2016: Ranking Every Match From Worst To Best
2. Hell In A Cell - Universal Title: Kevin Owens (c) Vs. Seth Rollins
Result: Owens powerbombs Rollins through two chairs to retain the title (23:15).
Rating: The fire extinguisher ref spot was an overly obvious way to get the door open and bring Jericho into the cell, but the ref sold it well and it actually added something to the match rather than just undermining the whole idea of it.
The table spot was the natural highlight, but this was terrifically entertaining throughout, working around the restrictions of PG-era HIAC matches well even if some might've found the Jericho shenanigans unnecessary and the lack of Triple H showing up was pretty disappointing.
The booking ensured Rollins looked like an absolute trooper even in defeat, and Jericho continues to be one of the most entertaining things in WWE these days. 7/10
