WWE Hell In A Cell 2021: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

5. Roman Reigns Beats Both Tag Champs

Things would get worse if Pearce inserted some mad clause that said Rey and Dominik would defend the tag belts if Roman then agreed to face both of them inside HIAC. Sure, why not? Why not have Reigns run roughshod over the reigning SmackDown Tag-Team Champs.

Fingers crossed this nightmare doesn't come true.

There was just something about Dom's mauling at the hands of Reigns that suggested the chance for revenge later though. Rey's lad took such a kicking that he might get some licks in against the Universal Champ, and WWE could book that this Sunday night. They absolutely shouldn't turn this into a handicap match, but they might.

Here's the thing: WWE will want Roman to look as powerful and dominant as possible before eventually being cut down by a returning hero (The Rock, perhaps?) next year. Plus, McMahon tends to come and go with caring about tag-team wrestling, or the focal points of those divisions.
