WWE Hell In A Cell 2021: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

2. WWE Title - Hell In A Cell: Bobby Lashley (c) Vs. Drew McIntyre

Result: Lashley beats Drew with a rollup - with some help from MVP - to retain the strap (25:45).

Rating: Another strong match with an atrocious ending, sadly. Though a rollup can be a smart and surprising way to end a match, nobody wants to see that in a world title main event, especially not one inside the Hell in a Cell.

It did nothing to elevate Lashley and just made Drew look like a fool. Otherwise this was an entertainingly hard-fought bout if hardly a HIAC match many are likely to remember for long.

When WWE books such lousy endings as this, you have to wonder if it's worth giving the gimmick a break for a little while.

The result was certainly the right one, but not how it was achieved. When you're presumably wrapping up a feud, a decisive ending is almost always the right call. 7/10
