WWE officials are understood to be high on Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, who are drawing great support for their work together on SmackDown.

This is per WrestleVotes. The Twitter/X outlet reports that although Waller and Theory was originally meant to be a short-term partnership, this has changed, as WWE believes both men will benefit from a longer-term partnership. As such, the duo should be expected to play a prominent role on WWE television through WrestleMania 40.

We’ve heard over the past few weeks of tremendous support for the team of Grayson Waller & Austin Theory. Source in creative has said it was meant to be a short term pairing but those plans have changed. The expectation is that the brash, young team may benefit from the mutual partnership in the long run. Expect the duo to play a strong role in programming thru Mania.

Waller and Theory have been paired together since September, combining as A-Town Down Under after occupying similar roles as midcard heels for several months. Their first win came against the Brawling Brutes of Butch and Ridge Holland on 22 September.
