WWE King & Queen Of The Ring 2024: 10 Things That Must Happen
2. Cody Gives Logan Paul EVERYTHING
The sustainability of Cody's title reign will hinge on the strength of his matches, at least between tentpole events like 'Mania and SummerSlam. WWE has called on Rhodes to work a series of one-offs vs. AJ Styles and now Logan Paul, and there will presumably be another to come on Clash At The Castle in Scotland.
Fair enough.
Whilst LP is definitely a big deal, he's less of a tolerable threat to Cody's title than a respected in-ringer like Styles was. Fans wouldn't hate seeing someone like AJ hit the heights again, but countless folks would be choking on their mid-show snacks if Logan Paul was booked as a double champ.
It's in Cody's best interests to make Paul look like a credible threat and tease that something monumental is about to happen the longer the match builds. Perhaps Logan's aforementioned entourage can take turns trying to help him win, then Rhodes can roar back to triumph like he did against Roman Reigns.
