Kurt Angle doesn't think Vince McMahon has actually retired from WWE.

The Hall Of Famer told Rene Dupree's podcast that he has a tough time believing his old boss is able to loosen his grip on the product completely. So, according to Angle, "he's [still] gonna be behind the scenes" and have some say over what happens on major shows like Raw and SmackDown.

Recent tweaks to WWE programming suggest that fresh ideas are incoming and that Vince has less influence over things. Kurt realises that changes will happen, but he doesn't believe for one second that McMahon has been put out to pasture.

He certainly doesn't think Vince would willingly leave.

When pressed for more, Kurt added: "Vince is not letting go of that company. He will not let it go until his hands are dead cold, and they pry it out of his cold, dead hands. He’s not letting go of that company until he dies, and that’s just it!".

The rumour mill is rife with split opinions on this. Some reckon that McMahon will retain some say, whereas others do believe he's gone for good.
