WWE Legend BLASTS CM Punk's Role In AEW

This WWE legend doesn't think CM Punk is there to "help" AEW grow bigger.

Booker T has scorched CM Punk's importance to AEW by asking if the wrestler was ever really there to "help" Tony Khan's company grow at all.

The WWE Hall Of Famer, speaking via his podcast, said that Punk was never going to "care" about the All Elite cause. In fact, Booker thinks his first opponent Darby Allin has "cooled off tremendously" since locking horns with Punk. That, to Book, really says it all.

Punk and Allin clashed at All Out in September 2021, and it was the former who scored the win after a hot 16-minute bout. The match was critically acclaimed, but Allin slid back down the card afterwards. However, he's recently roared back and will be part of the four-way main event for AEW's World Title (alongside champ MJF, Jack Perry and Sammy Guevara) at Double Or Nothing 2023.

Booker didn't mention that on his pod.

He said that Punk was only ever in AEW to "get a big bag and have some big matches". The legend is unsure whether or not having Punk around the place is a help or hindrance to All Elite in 2023.
