WWE Legend Criticises AEW's 'Barbed Wire Everywhere' Match

This WWE Hall Of Famer didn't care for one aspect of Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Kingston.

WWE Hall Of Famer and former D-Generation X man Road Dogg has criticised AEW for something that happened during Wednesday's dramatic 'Barbed Wire Everywhere' bout. The match, which had Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston kick the living sh*t out of each other in a feud blowoff, has split opinion amongst wrestling fans.

Roadie wasn't too keen on All Elite's attention to detail - or lack thereof.

He replied to a tweet questioning why ring announcer Justin Roberts had barbed wire on his microphone. That touch, which definitely sold the 'Barbed Wire Everywhere' branding, didn't bother Dogg. Tay Conti's inability to open the shark cage and free Jericho's stablemates, however, very much did.

The WWE legend pointed out that someone should've spent time earlier in the day making sure that Tay could open the thing easily: "So, they paid attention to that detail [Roberts], but then forgot to have the girl rehearse opening the cage".

Later, when a fan called the "entire match a disaster", Roadie said: "Don't say that out loud. They'll come for you!". He wasn't really into what Jericho and Kingston were trying to do then.
