WWE Legend Says He'd Love To Manage Happy Corbin

SmackDown's 'Happy Folks' could get a manager if this WWE legend has his way.

JBL wants to manage Baron Corbin.

That's probably not a revelation most fans thought they'd read in 2022, but it's real. The WWE Hall Of Famer has told ITR that he's probably too tall to be a manager (Layfield is 6'6") - however, if the company were interested in using him again, then he'd pitch to accompany Happy Corbin to ringside.

JBL would even manage Madcap Moss into the bargain if needed.

Layfield described Corbin as "a really smart guy", and said he "loves" what he's been doing with the new 'Happy' gimmick on SmackDown. The legend reckons it's one of the most entertaining acts WWE has going on right now, and that's why he wants to be a part of it.

Again, it's just John's physical size that could possibly put Vince McMahon off. Layfield doesn't think the WWE boss would want a manager to be the same size as or bigger than a wrestler he's representing. Even so, he figures they could work something out and get around that.

Would you like to see JBL return to TV as Happy Corbin's manager? Or, would you rather see WWE try something else with Corbin and Moss?
