WWE Live Review From Allentown - 10 Interesting Observations From Ringside
5. Lana Is The Best Manager Since Bobby Heenan And Jimmy Hart
That is a loaded statement, especially considering the fact that Bobby Heenan and Jimmy Hart are Hall of Famers and widely considered two of the greatest managers to ever step foot in the business but Lana has developed into such a phenomenal presence at ringside that it is no longer acceptable to deny her greatness. Perhaps it has something to do with her experience in the acting world but, from the moment she steps through the curtain until the moment she returns to the backstage area, she is in character and never allows herself to be caught off guard. She has such command over the audience and is so aware of her surroundings and how her character would react to any given scenario that it is impossible not to give her your full attention. Fellow WhatCulture writer John Canton stated in a previous live event review that "its tough to watch the action with Lana around." That she is absolutely stunning is not the only reason for the statement. Sure, she is so beautiful it is intimidating but it is her body language, her reactions and the way she is so in tune with the performance aspect of pro wrestling that captures the attention of the audience. Mark Henry and Rusev worked hard in their match but the most memorable moment of the entire ordeal was the command with which Lana performed. Whether she was flashing looks of concern every time Rusev hit the mat or shooting an evil eye at the one fan who stood up and started a USA chant, it was the little things she did in character that really helped sell the character to the audience. You cannot simply teach a performer those little things and the fact that she has managed to achieve that level of performance so early in her career is simple amazing.
