5. It's Tough To Watch The Action With Lana Around
John CantonThe ravishing Russian Lana really is one of the most beautiful women to work for WWE. When you see her up close it's even more obvious. She did a promo by the entrance before the match. It was hard to hear everything, but basically she claimed that Canadians are like Americans in how they are failures and aren't as good as Russia. It was the usual thing. Rusev is massive in person. He's just a big guy. Prior to the match, R-Truth said that he was going to be called R-Canada on this night. We kept congratulating him on being allowed to be in Canada because for a few years he wasn't allowed due to some arrest he had. To his credit, he did play to the fans and shook a lot of hands around the ringside area. They wrestled a short match that was about five minutes. Maybe even less. Lana was the one we were watching. She did make her away to all four sides of the ring and every time she did you could see the guys in the crowd standing up to take photos of her. Can you blame us? She's gorgeous. The win went to Rusev after he applied the Accolade and Truth tapped out. As mentioned, heels only win when they are stars that are pushed strongly on TV. That's what Rusev is. They're not going to have him lose at house shows at this point in his career.
