WWE Makes HUGE Change To WrestleMania 38 Plans

The 2022 Showcase of the Immortals is reportedly undergoing one MAJOR change.

While it was previously believed that WWE fully intended on returning to the traditional one-day format for WrestleMania 38, it looks as of those plans have changed, pal.

As per Fightful Select, the current internal plan amongst WWE management, as of last week, was for next year's Showcase of the Immortals to be a two-day affair. That would mean the event taking place on Saturday 2 April and Sunday 3 April from Dallas, Texas' AT&T Stadium.

WrestleMania 36 and WrestleMania 37 both took place over two nights, but 'Mania 38 would - at least as things stand right now - be the first ever full capacity WrestleMania to take place across two days.

Previously, 'Mania 36 was held under the empty silence of the WWE Performance Center, while this year's Granddaddy of Them All took place from a reduced capacity Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

At this early juncture, there are obviously zero matches announced for WrestleMania 38, although previous reports indicated that WWE was eager to have The Rock return to face Roman Reigns at next year's event. Any such return for the Great One looks unlikely as of this writing, but there's still clearly plenty of time for the 'Mania 38 card to be constructed.
