WWE.comAs someone who is intensely critical of the divas division, let me be the first to throw some compliments their way. While Paige may have won the match and walked away with her title, she's dying a slow death as a performer and her title run has felt like a failure thus far. The booking is to blame for most of that, as her edgy anti-diva character from NXT has been replaced by an insecure little girl who looks and feels out of place in the big leagues. Naomi, on the other hand, has shown a dedication to improving her craft, and in a women's division seriously lacking for talent and depth, her work here stood out. The ladies showed some creativity with their rollups and submission attempts, and if anything, Naomi's status was elevated with the loss, while Paige neither helped nor hurt herself all that much. If the Funkadactyl can continue to get better in the ring, she may become one of the highlights of the division and a championship run should be in her future.
