WWE Money In The Bank 2016: 10 Shocks That Could Happen

4. Anyone But Dean Ambrose Wins Money In The Bank

The very nature of the ending to Monday Night Raw suggests that Chris Jericho won't scale the ladder and pull down the briefcase at Money In The Bank. On Raw, fans were left with the lasting visual of Jericho's dominance, which usually doesn't work out for heels if they're written to look so powerful right before pay-per-views. It's a way to misdirect the audience.

Dean Ambrose is considered as the most likely winner, which is a definite possibility. Looking at things another way, WWE may have been booking Ambrose to look like the best bet in the build to the match, only to completely pull the proverbial rug out from underneath him come crunch time.

There are others who wouldn't exactly be bad choices to win Money In The Bank. Ignoring those who have done it before (sorry, Del Rio), Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Cesaro are all viable options. Most notably, Owens could do with that show of confidence from those in charge.

Generally speaking, if anyone other than Dean Ambrose walks away with the briefcase, it'd be a tad shocking, but not necessarily in a negative way.
