WWE Money In The Bank 2016: 10 Shocks That Could Happen

2. Seth Rollins Becomes WWE Champion Once Again

Outside of questions over who will win Money In The Bank and get a crack at the title, there's still a WWE Title match between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins on offer. Admittedly, WWE have done a poor job of building towards this one, and Seth's return should have felt a lot grander than it has.

This isn't just a throwaway title defence for Reigns though, because Rollins is the kind of character WWE would book to suddenly achieve an opportunistic victory. What if the story calls for Dean Ambrose to get involved (assuming he wins Money In The Bank), accidentally costing his pal Roman the belt?

As a character, Rollins would be vindicated if he recaptured the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Before going down with injury, he was carrying the load for the company on his back, cruelly stripped of his prize when he wasn't able to compete.

Maybe that's the story WWE have planned for Money In The Bank, one of a returning king eager to defy the odds and shove his success in the faces of everyone.
