Fans have been desperate for a Shield Triple Threat match for a long time, and it would be logical for MITB's finish to set that match up for the grand stage that is SummerSlam, right?

Well, while it turns out that the WWE are in fact shooting their wad early by having the match take place at Battleground next month, the sentiment was what mattered, right?
