WWE Money In The Bank 2017 is little over a week away, and this year's incarnation of the men's ladder match is absolutely stacked.

AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn are among the company's most gifted performers, Dolph Ziggler is still a tremendous athlete, and Baron Corbin should make a great grounded base for the chaos around him. If this group is allowed to work without restrictions, we could be looking at of the best MITB matches in history.

Few bouts come with as much star-making potential. 15 of the match's 17 previous winners have mounted successful cash-ins, and whomever walks away with this year's briefcase is almost guaranteed to receive either a slow-burner of a push or an immediate reign. Whether that'll be one of the contest's three former World champions or a new star remains to be seen, but the outcome will shake up SmackDown regardless.

There's a decent case to be made for most of the entrants emerging victorious. The oddsmakers have already identified their clear favourite, but they've been wrong before, and WWE love changing their mind at the last minute (see: Baclash).

Everything's still to play for.

6. Dolph Ziggler

When Bet Wrestling released their latest set of Money In The Bank odds earlier this week, Dolph Ziggler came in as a distant underdog, and understandably so. ‘The Showoff’ hasn’t been anything remotely close to main event status for a long time, and while last year’s feud with The Miz sparked moderate hopes of a career revival, he has since become one of WWE’s most listless wrestlers.

Ziggler turned heel in the aftermath of the Miz feud, and has done little of note since. He welcomed Shinsuke Nakamura to the main roster at Backlash, but ate a predictable loss, and now looks set to play out the rest of his career as a midcard gatekeeper. Once one of the most popular wrestlers in the company, Dolph’s fanbase have all but abandoned him over the past few years. It’s hard to see him ever being pushed again.

This makes it extremely unlikely that he’ll win the MITB briefcase for the second time in his career, but it’s impossible to rule anything out in a world where Jinder Mahal is WWE Champion.

Chances: Extremely slim.
