WWE Money In The Bank 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen
8. Elias Takes A DQ Against Roman Reigns
In true Honky Tonk Man or Jeff Jarrett style, Elias should go full on Quick Draw McGraw and be overcome by a "Kabonging frenzy" when he meets Roman Reigns. The music man isn't weighed down by wins or losses (he's somehow managed to remain over despite rarely winning), but there's no need for Roman to squash him flat here.
Ye olde DQ result is for the best.
Just as it looks like Reigns is about to Superman Punch the beard oil off Elias' face, the heel should reach for his trusty six-stringer and El Kabong the hell out of his foe. Then, the rivalry can continue unabated and leave the door open for that Reigns vs. Shane McMahon match SmackDown's writers are blatantly keen on.
A disqualification loss would protect Elias a bit more than a straight up clean defeat would, and it'd let him brag about outsmarting another babyface. He'd also retain some threat as Shane's henchman of choice going forward.
