WWE Money In The Bank 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. Asuka Wins The Women's MITB

It's a similar story for Asuka.

She's been purring quietly in the background as one of the best workers in the entire company, and she has benefitted from less emphasis on her 'Kabuki Warriors' tag-team with Kairi Sane. These days, Asuka is best-used as a veteran singles heel who can be ludicrously entertaining and watertight between the ropes.

Though most critics likely have Shayna Baszler pencilled in to win this one, she shouldn't. Shayna is already credible enough without carrying around a cartoonish-looking white briefcase; that case seems like a better fit for someone more colourful, like Asuka. She'd make it work as part of her act rather than looking like she was an MMA star carrying a kid's toy.

Nobody else in the match sounds appealing as a winner. Carmella had her time with MITB, Lacey Evans vs. Bayley on repeat sounds dull, Dana Brooke isn't someone WWE seem to take seriously and Nia Jax has just returned and doesn't really need the thing.
