Answer: New Day.

It's important for the credibility of those SmackDown Tag Titles that they don't flip-flop back to Miz and Morrison, or even go to a fresh team. Kofi Kingston and Big E only just won the things in questionable circumstances, and it'd be quite the sh*t move to double down on erratic booking so quickly.

New Day need time to make their eighth reign, one that started in a damn singles matches, credible. They can't do that if WWE cut their legs out here; the fun-loving pancake tossers are still one of the most entertaining acts on the roster, and they deserve to be treated with respect.

Forgotten Sons should be the ones to take these belts in the long run, but they're not quite ready for that yet. Ryker, Cutler and Blake need a bit more seasoning and a few more wins under their belts before they're in any position to become champs themselves.
