Result: The New Day retains the straps after Big E puts Gran Metalik away with the Big Ending (12:00).

Rating: This was just the kind of high-energy opener you always hope for, with all four teams pulling their weight and delivering accordingly.

Lucha House Party in particular came off splendidly here, with some genuinely plausible near-falls, even if New Day retaining was neither surprising nor in any way the wrong creative decision.

The logic of managers being ejected in No DQ matches continues to baffle as much as it always has, but aside from this, the booking, pacing, and performances were all spot-on, and got the main show off to a strong start. 7/10
