3. Drew McIntyre Gets Booed

Think of this as an extension of the previous point, albeit one worthy of a deeper dive.

Drew McIntyre helped carry WWE through the pandemic by delivering fun match after fun match, and even came into his own on the mic via some shoot-style promos opposite rivals like Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley. Before that, his mega-push (rather unfortunately) collided with the entire world shutting down.

The big Scot has been a near-constant during the ThunderDome days, but that presence has led to some mild backlash on social media from those sick of seeing him in lofty spots. It'd be a travesty if that meant he got booed during the men's MITB match on Sunday.

Drew would be well within his rights to get p*ssed off if fans jeered him whenever he reached for the briefcase. His watertight performances galvanised WWE when they badly needed it, and he spoke passionately about entertaining millions when they were stuck at home.

That deserves respect, not some toys-out-the-pram reaction to his top-tier status.
