5. WWE United States Title: Theory (c) Vs. Bobby Lashley
Result: Lashley made Theory tap to the Hurt Lock, winning the title (11:05).
Rating: This was decent enough if hardly a barn-burner. It didn't help that there were a lot of rest holds and Theory running around in the early going, but once they got into it things picked up significantly.
Lashley bumped hard for Theory and made him look like a credible threat, even if Lashley took the win in the end.
While this was a genuinely surprising outcome as it seemed like Theory would keep the strap for a while yet, Theory's later addition to the men's Money in the Bank of course explains why.
These two had fairly good chemistry even if it didn't quite reach that next level, though there was enough promise here to suggest that a rematch might get them there. 6/10
