2. WWE Does GUNTHER Dirty

It better not mean they're about to do GUNTHER dirty.

He's been tremendous as Intercontinental Champ since winning the belt back in June 2022. Matches against the likes of Sheamus (with or without Drew McIntyre), Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Mysterio, Mustafa Ali etc have provided unreal entertainment, and there's way more to go.

That is, of course, unless WWE decides to have the men's MITB winner cash-in on GUNTHER and become IC Champ. That'd be lame for multiple reasons, but especially because the champion is getting closer to becoming the longest-reigning Intercontinental titleholder in company history. They might as well smash that barrier now!

Vince McMahon was reportedly never high on GUNTHER before "retiring" last summer, so he might be in Triple H's ear here. Or, maybe WWE wouldn't see the Imperium leader losing IC and moving up the card to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship as a bad thing.

It wouldn't be long term, but he deserves to break records first.
