THE Coach Trip Home
As we tried to board, the guy checking tickets rudely told us we couldnt get on with train tickets. After asking if we could just pay there and then we found out we could and would be $5 each..after queuing for quite a while this seemed like a fair price so we paid up and took our seats. The resulting journey was simply delightful. All sorts of crazy chants were started that Im unhappy to say I couldnt recall right now but above all else, the fandango theme rang out the most. Some guy behind us jokingly stated you could use the theme to celebrate any news such as Congratulations sir, its a Boy!........DU-DU-DU DU-DU DUDU DU-Di-Du causing many a laugh and a pleasant time to be had by all.
As we left the coach in high spirits and passing a very confused driver, the travellers from our coach started chanting just about anything they could see. Our favourite being a chant for the Port Authority (Clap, Clap ClapClapClap) but it continued outside to the nearest Bar name to a Smoking Guy to just about anything you could think of. Resulting in a guy just minding his own business on the sidewalk stopping one of the gang and saying You guys just made my night. Afterwards, we made the long walk back to our hotel where thankfully, there was no naked woman at the end of the hall. We truly felt a part of something special that night and plenty of memories will stay with me forever from the entire weekend. I hope that this recollection of WrestleMania 29 makes people thinking about going to Mania 30 garner some more clarification on whether they want to make the trip to the Big Easy. Trust me, you wont regret it!
