Showing the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, live and in full, seems so obvious that it's hard to figure out why it hasn't been done before. Whatever WWE's reasons for not doing so in the past, this year, the Hall of Fame ceremony will stream live on the WWE Network. The announcement of this was welcomed with open arms. It was only last year that fans were disgruntled after watching the edited down version of the ceremony that aired on television and realising that they had heard more from Donald Trump than any of the legendary wrestlers that were being inducted. Both this, and having Vince McMahon himself induct him, seemingly sent a message to the fans about where the WWE's priorities lay, and Donald Trump's entrance was met with boos by the live audience. The problem with editing such a long ceremony down to an hour is that there really is only so much that you can show. The production team tried to show the perceived 'highlights', which isn't always the part that the fans want to see. However, there will be no such problems this year! It's really awesome that the legends (or in some cases, their family) will get the platform to share their big moments with the mass audience this year. They deserve it and the fans want to watch it. Hopefully this will happen every year so that we can all enjoy this tremendous ceremony for years to come.
