2. WWF Superstars/Wrestling Challenge
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9LRzTBc4C8 If youre a wrestling fan in your 30s like me, you remember waking up on Saturday morning and watching WWF Superstars in the early 1990s. And you also remember waking up on Sunday for Wrestling Challenge. These two shows drove the main storylines of the WWF before the debut of Monday Night Raw. It was on Superstars where Jake Roberts brought out the cobra to bite the arm of Macho Man Randy Savage, where Sgt. Slaughter burned the Hulkamania T-Shirt, where Ric Flair made his first allegations that Elizabeth was mine before she was yours, Macho Man! When WWE ran a video-on-demand subscription service on their website a few years ago called WWE Classics, they released four weeks worth of WWF Superstars every month. It was my favorite part about the service, and I hope they start to do this on the WWE Network. Better yet, why not air the Superstars and Wrestling Challenge episodes on Saturday and Sunday at noon like they used to do when I was a kid? I actually enjoyed Saturday Morning Slam during the brief time it was on. There was nothing like waking up on the weekend knowing I had no school, and celebrating with some wrestling. Bring it back!
