Barely a quarter passes without some kind of story involving big changes to the WWE Network doing the rounds, but it sounds like those long-reported plans are finally coming to fruition.

Company officials talk about the matter during yesterday's Q1 2019 earnings call, with Co-President and Chief Financial Officer George Barrios claiming that WWE's team has been working on a new Network platform for over a year while noting that they're "very excited" for its eventual release.

Barrios stated that the changes will see several new features that fans have been pining for implemented, adding that he believes this will help the Network grow. He wants the platform to find itself in a position of constant evolution, promising considerable new develops over the next few years, though he offered no specific details on the aforementioned features.

While Barrios wasn't willing to disclose an exact date for the relaunch, he said that it'll come sometime in 2019.

Talk of a tiered Network pricing system has been doing the rounds for years, with initial reports pointing towards a $15 price point packed with extra content, so there's a chance this is what Barrios is referring to.
