2. Seth Rollins Crashes Sting Through Announce Table
It's fairly obvious to anybody who has followed his career that Sting can't wrestle at the pace or intensity that he used to. In fairness to the man, he's now 56 years old, and he's in terrific shape for his age. That said, there were a few moments during his WWE Title match against Seth Rollins where it seems like things were catching up to the 'Icon'. One of the most notable was when the action was stopped briefly. A WWE doctor entered the ring and conversed with Sting. Meanwhile, Rollins stalled for time, until Sting could get back in amongst it. Before that, bruising had started to show on his back and shoulder blades, likely stemming from one amazing spot earlier in the bout. Standing atop one announce desk, Rollins pushed the Stinger backwards onto another. Crashing through the table in flashy fashion, there's no way the bump didn't hurt the former multi-time WCW World Champion. It's incredible that Sting agreed to take such punishment, but it really helped sell the importance of the match, and fans reacted favourably to the stunt.
