WWE Night Of Champions - US Title And Divas Title Matches Added

Two new title matches added to this month's PPV.

Two new matches were officially announced for WWE Night of Champions on Raw this week: Seth Rollins defending the United States Title against former champion John Cena and Nikki Bella defending the Divas Title against Charlotte. The only other match announced for the show currently is Seth Rollins defending the WWE Title against Sting, which was set up last week. The Rollins/Cena rematch was set up when Cena went to the ring during Rollins' main event promo segment and said that there was nothing that The Authority's Stephanie McMahon could do to stop him from using his rematch clause. Stephanie set up the match while Rollins was furious because now he has to defend two titles in one night. Their match at SummerSlam was the match of the night and should be very good again. It's definitely possible that Cena could win the title back.
The Divas Title match was set when Charlotte won a Beat the Clock challenge against fellow Team PCB members Paige and Becky Lynch. Charlotte beat Brie Bella in a time of 1:40, which gave her the title shot at Night of Champions. The reason that it was only Team PCB members in the challenge is because they won the triple threat tag match match at SummerSlam, so this was their reward. Nikki has less than two weeks left to hold the record for longest Divas Title reign, so as long as she doesn't defend it before Night of Champions then she'll have the record. I think Charlotte will win the title from her. Should Sasha Banks get a Divas Title shot since she beat Nikki Bella in a singles match on Raw a few weeks ago? Absolutely, but the way the WWE books the divas division sometimes doesn't make a lot of sense and poor Sasha is out of the picture for now. Night of Champions takes place on September 20 in Houston, so there are still three more episodes of Smackdown and two more episodes of Raw to fill out of the card.
