WWE No Mercy 2016: 8 Things That Must Happen
3. Don't Embarrass The Debutants
Obviously the No Mercy card is only partially complete (we should see it fleshed out more tonight on SmackDown), but one of the show's side-objectives should be to present any PPV debutants in a positive light. Jack Swagger didn't enjoy the best reception since jumping from Raw, and looks as if he's being used merely to put over Baron Corbin - but he is hopefully shown to be a dangerous, experienced opponent.
A more risky prospect is Curt Hawkins, whose comedic vignettes have already achieved widespread ridicule (and not in the desired way). It's unclear quite which position Hawkins will take up on the card - probably low - but hopefully he's more Santino Marella than Adam Rose when it comes to putting his peers over.
