Take this one with a big pinch of salt, but there's talk going round that WWE has booked Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida to host the 11 March episode of NXT.

This is according to Twitter user @FLWrestlingFan. He posted the following last night:-

It's worth noting that this is the same fan that sits in the front row for almost every NXT show, decked out in a distinctive blue Everton soccer jersey.

As noted, Universal Studios is where TNA used to host their old shows back in the day, thus opening NXT up to all kinds of Impact Zone jokes. Whatever happens next, one would expect an official announcement to be imminent given that the broadcast in question is just two weeks away.

There has been talk of NXT potentially leaving its full-time Full Sail University home for several months now. It first arose when the Wednesday Night Wars became a thing, with reports stating that WWE would look at running similar-sized buildings to those AEW use for Dynamite, though the promotion's contract with Full Sail complicates matters.

Triple H recently spoke on the issue, stating that he didn't feel the aforementioned agreement would pose a major problem in any move.
