WWE NXT Live Philadelphia: 11 Interesting Observations

1. Finn Balor Is A Franchise Star

There are some who understandably question whether someone the size of Finn Balor can actually be a franchise player for WWE when his time on the main roster finally arrives. After witnessing the way the crowds respond to him, and the presence that he exudes when he sets foot inside the squared circle, there is little doubt in my mind that he can succeed as the top star in any promotion, in any corner of the world. Not only is Balor a tremendous in-ring performer but he carries himself as a star. He commands your attention and he is fully in-tune with the performance aspect of the sport. He gets the art of wrestling and understands that the "E" in WWE is as important as anything. Hence The Demon persona. Hence the theatrical entrances. He is absolutely compelling, his aura making up for his lack of size. Even at age 34, the international veteran of the mat wars will be a star for years to come, entertaining legions within the WWE Universe thanks to being the complete package that the company is seriously lacking.
