WWE NXT Takeover: 7 Things We Learned

1. Renee Young Should Host Everything

Renee Young has been used by WWE in more and more ways since she arrived on the scene, and she proved once again during the NXT Takeover pre and post-shows that she is the breath of fresh air that WWE has been waiting years for. Never before has a female talent contributed in a non-wrestling capacity the way Young has. Not only is Young very educated on the wrestling business, but it's very clear that she loves what she does. Her enthusiasm, humor and excitement for all things WWE permeate through the screen and make everyone who watches her pay a little more attention to what she is saying. Sure, we have seen many female talents in WWE who were great characters, but Young is not a character. She is a real person who can connect with fans on many levels. On top of being very attractive, Young is clearly a wrestling nerd and that is what makes her so likeable. Watch the video of her revealing an Undertaker collectible and tell me you don't think she is perfect for WWE. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Zcm-RmH7Pk WWE fans aren't stupid. They can tell when someone is faking it, which is often the reason celebrity guests who are just there to promote something are met with hostility from the fans. Renee Young is the kind of talent other companies should be trying to poach from WWE, and they very well may be doing that. She's well-spoken, intelligent and very comfortable cracking jokes with other commentators during the show. How could you not love someone who makes a Tokyo Joe reference? These are just some of the takeaways from NXT Takeover. Sound off in the comments section with your opinions on WWE's second NXT special.
