Chalk this up to dodgy sound equipment maybe, but did anyone else notice that towards the end of the Kickoff broadcast, Renee Young developed a lisp that got increasingly pronounced? She was slurring her 'S's all over the shop, which she's never done before, to my knowledge. Had she just had dental work? Was she drunk? Or was it a weird, but committed tribute to Dusty Rhodes, a man with an iconic lisp of his own? We may never know ... but it was probably a dodgy lapel mic.
