8. Von Wagner Turns On Kyle O’Reilly
Who else smells a turn incoming?
Von Wagner and Kyle O'Reilly are a strange team. They were blatantly shunted together last-minute, and WWE has decided just to roll with it 'cause they've got nothing else better for O'Reilly to do; he'd be a real loss to NXT 2.0, but all signs point towards an AEW reunion with Adam Cole and Bobby Fish eventually.
For now, Kyle needs to get away from teaming with his big temp partner. There's no way they can convincingly take the NXT Tag-Team Titles away from Imperium on Sunday, especially if creative has any designs on WALTER's buddies looking credible.
The prediction here is that Imperium picks up a strong win by pinning O'Reilly (Kyle can take it), and then Wagner blasts the ex-Undisputed Era man from behind with a big forearm. One power move later and he can stand over his now-former pal with a menacing scowl.
That's an instant underdog feud for O'Reilly right there.
