Oh, Bull Dempsey.
Bull was brought into NXT as "the Last of a Dying Breed", an old-school brawling heel in the One Man Gang/King Kong Bundy mold. He squashed jobbers for a month or two, hitting low-velocity flying headbutts while the announce team halfheartedly marveled about how "a man of his size can move like that".
Then NXT brought in Kevin Owens, a dynamic, psychologically complex monster heel that can throw a tope con hilo, and it became clear why Bull's breed is dying. He's just not interesting to watch. Maybe he could borrow the Vaudevillains' time machine and go back to the early 80's. He could make himself a good living menacing the Tommy Riches of the world.
Final rating: **3/4
