WWE NXT's Tatum Paxley Debuts On SmackDown - Helps Charlotte Flair (WWE News)
Tatum Paxley aligned with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss on Friday's WWE SmackDown.
WWE NXT star Tatum Paxley made her main roster debut on Friday's episode of SmackDown by helping Charlotte Flair beat Jade Cargill in the show's main event.
At first, Flair was outnumbered by Jade, Michin and B-FAB (the latter 2 Baddies prowled ringside). Then, Alexa Bliss made her first appearance since an arm break angle last month. Alexa's arm was in a sling, so Michin and B-FAB thought they had things well in hand, but that's when Bliss pulled her old Lilly plush doll out from behind her back.
The lights went out, and Paxley was standing primed for a big cross body spot once they came back on. That paved the way for Charlotte to score the win. Post-match, Tatum celebrated with the stalwart pair, and it looks for all the world like she's formed a faction with Bliss and Flair.
If so, then that's a huge spot for the former NXT worker. Aligning with 2 stars like Alexa and Charlotte will guarantee plenty of television time for Paxley. Now, she's right in the thick of the feud between those women and the trio of Cargill, Michin and FAB.
Tatum is a former NXT Women's North American and NXT Women's Champion. She spent around 5 years on WWE's developmental brand, and has come a long, long way. Her last match on the third show was a loss to Kelani Jordan on the 30 June edition.
It shouldn't be too long until Paxley takes her bow in a main roster ring now she's on SmackDown.
